  • Responsible for fundraising to include cultivating and monitoring all donor activity with oversight of gift acknowledgment and recording processes.
  • Identify grant opportunities and prepare grant applications, monitor our participation through data collection, develop evaluation and reporting mechanisms to assure full compliance with programs and services.
  • Work in conjunction with CEO to develop and manage a Major Gifts Program.
  • Oversees management of the Bloomerang donor software system and coordinates the updates required to keep gift records and reports current.
  • Develop and implement annual marketing and communication plans consistent with health center’s strategic direction.
  • Assumes overall responsibility for St. Elizabeth’s website including writing, content management, content marketing strategies, creating photography and videos and evaluating website effectiveness.
  • Works in partnership with Directors to create compelling marketing strategies with clearly identified key messages for specific target audiences.
  • Participates in developing social media tools and digital campaigns and identify opportunities to further promote the Health Center’s brand in the community and foster market share expansion and growth. Monitors social media.
  • Represents St. Elizabeth’s at community meetings/charity events, helps solicit sponsors for major events, speaks publicly about St. Elizabeth’s Health Center and assists in tours with interested community members. Plans and supports other outreach activities.
  • Actively engages and participates in activities and community events that expand, grow and enable maximum interface with donors and potential donors.
  • Contributes to team effort; and complies with all facility policies and procedures including but not limited to those addressing HIPAA and Compliance, as well as the Association of Fundraising Professionals Code of Ethics and Donor Bill of Rights.
  • Other duties may be assigned.


  • State of Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Valid AZ Driver License and proof of insurance
  • Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credential preferred


  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university
  • A minimum of three years fundraising/development and/or marketing experience, preferably in healthcare environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Researching and writing grant proposals and grant management
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to successfully manage multi-functional/diverse areas
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be available to work occasional evenings and weekends
  • Superior organizational skills and the ability to create and manage timelines
  • Data analysis and process improvement skills
  • Experience in social media preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish (verbal and written) preferred
  • Master’s in Business, Health Care or related field preferred
